Intent - - - 18 April 2007

...Whenever we do anything, no matter how unconscious that action might be, the action is imbued with an energetic carrier-wave termed intent and that within all intent are finer fundamental modulations by the qualitative aspect present at the moment of initiating the motive.

In short, every movement of action is colored by the qualitative state originating the action, even if that action is thought.

Specific sub-modulation which normally happens sub-consciously, determines the overall shape and resonance of the collective waveform of the physical architecture. It is this waveform that attracts and repels; the mechanism is resonance.

The qualitative realm, which can be reduced down to three core experiential qualities. Those three fundamental modulating qualities are fear (contracted-self), receptive caring (open-self), and the neutral balance position between these two polarities (selfless). The two extremes associate physically to contraction and expansion, with the neutral center being a grounded calm termed “peace”. This peace is sometimes referred to “the peace of God”

Returning to the neural sciences reminds us that each quality produces uniquely specific neural transmitters and their resulting specific resonance within the bio-system.

Resonance both attracts and/or repels; both critical in creating Reality. This principle is critical in understanding The Law of Attraction. The force generated is equal for both… the force with which you are attracting is the same as that which you are repelling.

The conclusion in the Silent Gospel is that this subtle, mostly subconscious process forms the foundation in the creation of one’s experienced reality. And that conscious intent held in the ideal emotional state allows Reality to blossom into “new worlds of existence”. The womb of creation is “pure space”-“pure potentiality”-“consciousness prior to object”.

Ideal Emotion – (Psycho-physical) State

Compassion is not empathy, sympathy or pity. One feels for another with these, whereas in genuine compassion one feels as the other. It is selfless, meaning of course a radical shift in identity. Genuine Compassion is the only emotionally selfless state. The art of developing and maintaining this uniquely powerful state is best outlined in the Buddhist spiritual science of “Kaurna Metta” and the practice of Tong Len. These evolved ancient practices begin with loving-kindness for one’s self begun by being genuine to one’s truth.

Truth is the root of evolution on all levels of creation. It is the impulse behind movement itself.

The ultimate goal is Bodhicitta which has two facets. The first is selfless altruistic service to relieve suffering while the ultimate facet is “Wisdom” itself and a deep and genuine appreciation of the infinite openness. These two facets are reflected in the life and teaching of the man Jesus, as they are in the actions of all saints regardless of cultural and religious background.

Whether he learned it from Buddhist-Hindu missionaries, practices of specific Jewish acetic sects or by simply meditating in the wilderness, the stories demonstrate a direct understanding of these principles. In the end the man associated with the Shroud demonstrated the ultimate example of this experiential knowing during the crucifixion when he forgave his executioners. The degree of this experiential knowing was exhibited three days later with the resurrection and ascension into the Kingdom of Light. Then the physical phase transitions to reflect the consciousness animating it.

The Right Questions - - - 4 March 2007

During these times of technical sophistication, the magnifying lens of science and media has opened new portals into the far reaches of inner and outer space. Recent human history has focused its attention on the object part of reality; today attention is beginning to be placed on the 99.9% share of that same reality, the domain of “space”. These explorations have vastly expanded our notion of potentiality, specifically Human Potentiality.

Our times see a blurring of the line between science and spirituality, the pendulum of history once again is joining at the hip the human search for meaning and existence, the search for truth.

The information age with its electronic-digital tools are shrinking our planet exponentially as well as our notions of time-space; the far corners of inner and outer space are being illuminated and in the process, the “womb of objective creation”.

Communications appears to be getting easier and easier yet paradoxically making face to face human contact more removed. Looking in some ones eye and shaking a real hand is becoming less common, not more common. Information is being collected far faster then human beings can ever make sense of it. As fast as our Universe is expanding, so are the networking devices to stay connected.

Culture; social and philosophic, are blending in one giant ying-yang spiral of novelty. Modern medicine is validating and incorporating wisdom of long departed sages. Indigenous and Chinese medical practices, yogic knowledge and millenniums of direct “experiential knowing” is entering the common day to day. Yet the apparent freshness is as old as history itself; newly packaged ancient concepts are twisting the rational to the point of submission.

Quantum Physics and its weird mechanics, related studies into the nature of Recall, Self-organization and the grand-daddy Consciousness, are all paving converging paths on the age old quest for meaning and existence, collectively the search for truth. Whether we like to admit it, this single impulse, (to know Truth) is the sole driving force behind all of humanities evolutionary growth, (religious, scientific, cultural and personal). This impulse embedded within consciousness itself is even redefining our relationship with the Divine.

The Light of Truth is illuminating the “Mysteries” and the “Arts”; the shadows from my perspective, cling solely to outdated dissolving concepts of our “true nature”; dissolving due to the experimental data that hard science is accumulating. More and more modern tools and “The Sciences” are demonstrating alternate realities to the one that we perceive with our senses as real. The foundations of belief are evaporating, and the core concept that is melting away are those of conceptual identities (I am this, I am that etc.) held by the trance delusional state of “past-future mind” known as the ego. Today new disciplines in science are demonstrating the existence of a non-local aspect of mind some might call the higher-self, atman or soul.

It is called the “witnessing” aspect because it can not be located in time-space. The non-local domain is one outside of time-space, no time - no space - no distance, hence an eternal domain; not a place of “endless time” but a conscious existence of “no-time”.

Experiential knowing of this eternal “witnessing” aspect or “facet of mind” is “Awakening”. When maintained and sustained as the main perception local for distributing focused awareness (attention), ultimately generates organically, deep joy, peace and well-being; both psychological and physical.

In my book The Silent Gospel, I share the beauty of allowing this shift of perspective, this shift in the placement of one’s identity from the localized identity that I AM THIS, what ever THIS may be; the body, the job, the history, the culture, the race, the religion; “the concept”, to one of Selflessness. A state when acted through develops genuine compassion; a psycho-physical resonant neutral harmonizing singularity where self-organizing-recursive-coherency sustains the electromagnetic standing-wave (the physical) seamlessly. This is a station on the evolutionary path of consciousness, one recognized by Masters of inner exploration, and a prerequisite for the “Final” or “Great Completion” understood in Christianity as Ascension.

“Concept” in all its attraction is limiting to potentiality, to creation, to fulfillment of the heart’s aims and desirers. Common in the mystical literature, are the philosophical, religious and spiritual practices that aid an “allowing” a shift in the “trance grasp”; the hold, (the balance and strength), of rational egoic past–future mind has in the creation of reality; an “allowing” of a shift in perspective to reside more in the “now” of the heart and ultimately the wisdom of the “infinite”; the atman-soul. Rarely in these texts are the shifts to the physical discussed. Seldom are the benefits and potentially weird side-effects shared.

“Potentiality”, interestingly operates to basics Laws within this Creative Universe. Called the Law of Attraction (see The Secret) by some, science understanding it as basic resonance; as long as one is playing the game of life with the balance of resonant strength residing in “past-future” aspect of mind, “Past-Future” demands will create a conceptual reality to exist within. In my book The Silent Gospel I give a full chapter to this principle in order to more fully grasp the under-riding Law at work in the creation of reality. If however one shifts the bulk of one creative identity to the Selfless-No-one-Thingness of the “witnessing aspect”, then the reality of the “womb of creative reality”, the vastness of “Potentiality” and “Possibility” become in a sense, the “I” in the awareness witnessing the dance of creative reality. Reality is no longer limited by concept and the sense that I am this body.

In my book I use the Shroud of Turin mystery as analogy to the ultimate process of “selfless allowing”, the surrendering in a loving manner of all aspects of Identity, which is to say “all facets of mind-identification”. I give the physical bio-physics of the final massive phase-transition known as Ascension by some. Ascension is the attainment of the “light-body” making one a “Son-Daughter of God”, an attainment where the heart becomes perfectly purified and instead of merely reflecting the spiritual light, actively manifests the same. This “allowing/shifting” process is a teachable skill when handled by an “experienced explorer” of Reality.

And more and more the disciplines of the “reproducible” are giving us solid value to support the learning of these skills. Skills that have benefits to the survival oriented “Past-future self”, benefits for the psychological, physical, even societal aspects of humanity. In that they produce psycho-physical well-being, which in turn supports enhanced immune functioning, learning skills, performance, social skills and yes even longevity.

Within both the Vedanta and the Bible this sentiment is echoed

"Asato ma sat gamaya (From illusion lead me to the Truth);

Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya (From darkness lead me to Light);

Mrityur ma amritam gamaya (From death lead me to Immortality)".

(Bryhad Aranyak (Brihadaranyaka) Upanishad 1.3.28)

Again this evolution in concept is being affected by a shift from placing nearly all of our attention (consciousness focused) on the object (mass) dominated world, to that part science would tell us consumes  99.9% of all material objects; empty space and the intelligence inherent to that domain. More and more of our attention will be going to this domain empty-timeless- space and the intelligence sustaining it. We are shifting from a world/reality where attention is object dominated to the majority of the universe; empty space. We are shift from limited localized aspect of creation to pure potentiality, the “Womb of the Divine”.

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die." Christianity.  Bible, John 11.25

“The intent and hidden meaning left within the ancient fibers of the Shroud of Turin, The Silent Gospel, could only truly be unraveled during these times of technical sophistication, for only now do we have the tools required to marvel at the mysteries embedded by its creator.” ~ James Barrett

~From the unreal lead me to the Real!

~From darkness lead me to light!

~From death lead me to immortality!

Hinduism. Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.3.28

An age-old Indian Sanskrit prayer is

"Asato ma sat gamaya
Thamaso ma jyothir gamaya
Mrithyo ma amritham gamaya"

Love refuses nothing, and takes nothing,

It is the highest and vastest freedom.

All exists through love.

– Gospel of Philip

“May you remember that which has always been.”
